Keystone Profiles, Ltd. was founded in 2003 after acquiring the assets of a dormant Republic Technologies cold drawn bar mill and the inventory and equipment of the former Pittsburgh Tool Steel Inc. The company was formed with the premise of offering cold-drawn steel bars to manufacturers to allow them to reduce manufacturing cycle time, investments, and waste. Prior to 2015, the Company relied heavily on growth of commodity products sold to metals service centers. Since then, the Company has transitioned its efforts and business model to focus on value-add special shapes produced to prints and specifications provided by end-use customers. Today, the Company is well-positioned to be the preferred partner of machine shops, machine builders, and metal service centers that demand highly specified products of highest quality, shipped on-time.
